The girls of North Reading's Scout Troops 78188 and 62804, after searching for a few local caches (and loving it!), decided to earn their Geocaching badge and placed this small box off a trail in Ipswich River Park. If you park your vehicle by the main park entrance, you will find the trail entrance about 100 feet to the left of the main walkway right before the horseshoe pitch and the tennis courts. The cache is in a wooded area a few yards off the trail. The container is a labeled clear plastic box with a snap on lid. The cache contains little swaps the girls assembled together and they will monitor the geocache and are eager to find some exchanges! The trail is behind the soccer fields at IRP and is mostly quiet, however muggles are known to jog or walk their dogs in these woods. The girls have noticed a fair amount of trash on the trail (especially in and around the clearing between the trail and the soccer fields), so be sure to pick up a trash bag at the park entrance and do your part to keep IRP clean and gorgeous!
