This cache features the beginning or end of the Stratton Arlington Rd. From here this route will take you through Stratton and Sunderland and ending ultimately in East Arlington.
The dirt road portion through the GMNF is not plowed in winter. It is open and used for snowmobiling.
This historic road is also known as the Kelley Stand Road. Daniel Webster spoke at a Whig Party gathering in the 1840's at Kelley Stand. This was also a famous logging road in the 1800's.
