Kinkell1 used to celebrate her birthdays with an event in this very park. Over the years it has become something of a tradition. Unfortunately, Kinkell1 is no longer with us but we want to keep the tradition and the memory of Sue alive by celebrating birthdays - not just the ones on the day, but all those that fall within 12 months of the event. Well, doesn't that include all of us?
So let's toast to everyone there on the day and follow Sue's motto: “No presents, just your presence required.”
The park boasts plenty of space for children and dogs to run around, a playground, shelter with tables, 2 electric barbecues, some seating, toilets and parking. If you are so inclined, you could even stay on for a dip in the local swimming pool or a round of golf nearby.
As January can be hot, make sure you keep up the water and seek out the shade if the sun is merciless.
