Park założony został w 2012 roku w ramach projektu dofinansowanego ze środków unijnych. Usytuowany jest na wzgórzu Koziejówka na wysokości od 527 do 636 mn.p.m. W parku została utworzona ścieżka spacerowa mająca swój początek przy skwerze na ulicy Zamkowej. Przebiega ona obok kapliczki MB i dochodzi do ruin zamku z XIV w. Spacer można zakończyć przy źródełku wody mineralnej „Anna ”.

Walking path in the BASZTA park
The walking path starts at the square at Zamkowa Street and runs along the St, Mary's chapel to reach the ruins of the 14th century castle - the path is cobbled with sandstone and lined arbours. A figure of Saint Mary may be seen on the castle walls. The way down to the castle is a natural path down the hill, which leads past the remains of the earthworks from the original settlement. At the junction we should turn left and take the path cobbled with pebbles to reach the mineral water spring Anna at Jasna Street. We may also take the other route the starts at the beginning of zamkowa Street and ends at the beginnings of Jasna Street - in this case at the top of the hill we should go left.
