Having been told it was Shepparton's turn to host this event, it was suggested that Kidstown would be the best place for it, where it was held ten years ago.
I have booked the Pepppercorn 2 area from 11 till 2. That should give people travelling long distances the opportunity to arrive and be able to return home in plenty of time, and for locals to be able to attend the Anzac Day Service.
There are BBQ facilities, tables and seating but you may choose to bring your own chair.
There is a wonderful playground here for the youngsters. BYO food for lunch if you wish, or there is a cafe on site, as well as parking available.
Entry is via gold coin which all goes back to the operation and maintenance of the park along with funding annual projects to enhance the overall experience
Anzac Day is very special to me as our son was born on that day, and is currently serving in the armed forces.
