Sadly, DavidNessie passed away on September 23, 2020 (funeral information can be found here). On March 19, 2022 the family transferred ownership of his 8 caches to Mister Doctor.
This is DavidNessie‘s third cache.
This cache is in Tally Ho park, home to a tennis club and other sporting groups. Muggles often walk around here and some free leash their pooches to romp and run around the playing field to chase balls. There is a kiddies’ playground nearby as a distraction for muggle parents. A car park is available off Bennett Ave. This car park is usually the busiest of the two - the other being opposite and accessible from Florida St. The busiest time at the Park is usually the weekends when the tennis club is open and or cricket or footy is being played. But this may to the cacher’s advantage of blending in. There is a pathway into the “sunken” house estate, Sienna Mt Waverley, to the north of the park. Be aware muggles can appear along the path without notice. For the history buffs, this estate is in the old clay quarry of Brick & Pipe Industries. Some 30+ years ago the west bank slipped into the estate and house building ceased for many years. The estate is nearing completion with only a few building blocks left. BYO writing implement.
