FIELD PUZZLE! PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION
Trumbull Woods is an 18 acre natural preserve with a wealth of diverse ecological areas, including a stream, a swamp, a meadow and beech-maple woods. Hiking trails wind through the park. You will be off trail, so dress appropriately. You can easily increase the terrain rating of this to 3.5 or more if you do not take the best path – definitely not the shortest route!
To start your adventure, take the path up the hill for about 100 yards and then head south at the fork and over the footbridge past the fireplace. You can avoid the ravine and swampy areas by selecting the right route from there. Once you find the container, you will need to determine the combination for the lock. Four creatures have been placed within 15 feet of the container. Use the first letter of each of their names to determine the combination. Note: the name of the highest is not a 5 letter word. Do not remove the creatures! Look HIGH and LOW – TOP to BOTTOM. You should not have to move any camo, logs, rocks, etc. to find the creatures – maybe a leaf or two. Please scramble the letters on the lock after you close the hasp. You must sign the log to claim the find. Please no spoilers in your logs or photos. They will be deleted.
