Kennt ihr das Suchspiel, bei dem ihr einen Gegenstand finden müsst und die einzigen Hinweise, die euch die Mitspieler bei der Suche geben, sind die Worte „warm, wärmer“, wenn ihr nah dran seid und „kalt, kälter“, wenn ihr weit weg seid? Das Spiel wollen wir mit euch spielen!
Wie es sich für einen Cache vom Typ „Letterbox“ gehört, ist es eure Aufgabe, die versteckte Dose nur mit Hilfe von solchen Hinweisen zu finden. Leider können wir nicht neben euch herlaufen und euch die Hinweise geben. Das brauchen wir auch gar nicht, denn dafür haben wir hier eine Webseite gebastelt, die genau das macht.
Um auf die Suche zu gehen, braucht ihr ein Smartphone und müsst dessen GPS einschalten. Wenn ihr dann die Webseite öffnet, müsst ihr einmal bestätigen, dass euer Standort angezeigt werden darf. Danach könnt ihr auf eurem Smartphone ablesen, wie nah ihr an der Dose dran seid: Wenn ihr zum Beispiel „kalt“ lest, dann wisst ihr, dass ihr noch weit weg seid. Lest ihr stattdessen „ganz heiß“, dann seid ihr sehr nah dran. Am Ziel lest ihr dann „gefunden“. Wenn ihr mit den Temperaturangaben unterwegs durcheinander kommt, schaut bitte auf den Fortschrittsbalken.
Genau wie beim originalen Suchspiel müsst ihr damit rechnen, ab und zu in die falsche Richtung zu laufen und dann wieder zurück laufen zu müssen. Da die Dose in Sandhausen versteckt ist und Sandhausen ja nicht allzu groß ist, werdet ihr es aber schon schaffen. Es gibt keine vorgegebene Route, daher könnt ihr auf verschiedenen Wegen zum Versteck kommen. Der kürzeste Weg ist etwas länger als 1,5 km.
Wie beim Cachetyp „Letterbox“ üblich, findet ihr in der Dose ein Stempelkissen und einen Cachestempel für euer persönliches Stempelbuch. Stempelkissen und Cachestempel dürfen nicht getauscht werden und müssen in der Dose bleiben.

Do you know this search game, where you have to find an item and the only hints you get are the words “warm, warmer” when you get closer and “cold, colder” when you get further? This is the game we want to play with you!
As usual for a cache of type “Letterbox” your task is finding the cache only by those hints. Unfortunately, we cannot walk beside you and give you the hints. Luckily, there is no need for this since we built this webpage to do the job.
To start the search, you need a smartphone and you have to enable its GPS. After opening the webpage you first need to share your location. After that, you can read off from the smartphone how far you are apart from the cache: If you read e.g. “cold” you know you are rather far. If you read e.g. “very hot” you can be sure you are pretty close. At the end you will read “found it”. It you get confused about the temperatures, please have a look at the progress bar.
As for the genuine game, expect to walk forth and back a couple of times. However, since the cache is hidden within Sandhausen and since Sandhausen is not really that huge, you will make it eventually. There is no pre-determined route, but many paths lead to the final. The shortest route is a bit longer than 1.5 km.
As usual for a cache of type “Letterbox” the box contains an ink-pad and a cache stamp for your personal stamp book. Those items are not for trading and need to remain in the box.
