A cache in the tea fields near Sinharaja Forest Reserve, Sri Lankas only primary tropical rainforest. The forest is home to many rare species, both in flora as well as fauna. As such it has been designated a Biosphere Reserve and World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
T-rating is due to the remoteness of this place. The hide itself is T2. To get to the cache you have to follow the (one and only) narrow and steep road, climbing 500m from the nearest village.
Beware of leeches!
The bird guide at the nearby Ecolodge hotel is aware of the cache, in case of any problems.
