The GZ is just off the coastal footpath on Mount Todden Down, overlooking Darrity's Hole, south of Pelistry Bay towards Gap Point. Access to the cache site can be seen from the footpath, there is an animal track that may, in the summer months, be over grown by bracken. The site can be approached from either direction from the coast path and from the inland track by Mount Todden farm. Nearby are the remains of the English Civil War batteries and the Mount Todden eighteen century Watch House. There is also considerable evidence of pre-historic field settlement on the downs.
