Trout Pond is a quiet body of water in remote Lyme, NH. There is a fairly easy 3/4 mile hike from the small parking area to the pond and the cache. The last bit of trail along the pond requires some rock-hopping. On a clear day there are scenic views of nearby Smarts Mountain. Bring a lunch and relax by the shore, do some fishing, or even take a paddle in the communal canoe.
The cache itself is a small circular lock-and-lock container with room for a couple of trinkets. It wasn't my intention to make this a difficult find, but the nature of the surroundings makes for a lot of places to look for something this small. So enjoy the hunt if you are up for a challenge, but otherwise use the hint, which has a lot of detail. Enjoy!
