Geocache Description:

This is a challenge cache which encourages you to set and achieve fun goals as part of your geocaching adventures. The cache is located at the posted coordinates but you must complete the requirements outlined below in order to log your cache online on geocaching.com. The difficulty rating is for the challenge; the difficulty of the cache hide is 1.5. Thanks to Bumble! for providing the inspiration for this cache.

Challenge Requirements

Your goal is to find all the below caches types in Powers of Ten:

  1. You will need to find 1000 caches of one the main available cache types.
  2. You will also need to find 100 caches EACH of at least three other cache types.
  3. You will need to find at least 10 caches EACH of at least five other cache types.
  4. Finally you will need to find at least 1 caches of the remaining type.
  5. A cache type may only be used once.

The allowed cache types are:

  • APE
  • CITO
  • Earthcache
  • Event
  • Geocaching HQ
  • Giga event
  • GPS Maze Adventure
  • Lab (note, you will need to manually calculate your results if using labs because the checker doesn’t account for labs)
  • Letterbox
  • Locationless
  • Lost and Found events (includes Community events)
  • Mega event
  • Multi
  • Traditional
  • Unknown
  • Virtual
  • Webcam
  • Wherigo

For Example this is my list:

  • (1): Giga-Event Caches
  • (10): Webcam Caches
  • (10): Mega-Event Caches
  • (10): Cache In Trash Out Events
  • (10): Wherigo Caches
  • (10): Earthcaches
  • (100): Virtual Caches
  • (100): Event Caches
  • (100): Multi-caches
  • (1000): Unknown Caches

You can mix any of the above cache types in any order, it doesn't have to be exactly like mine. For example you may have 100 virtuals and 100 Earthcaches, yet only have 10 multis and 10 mystery, etc. You are qualified as long as you have 1000 of one cache type, 100 EACH of three cache types, 10 EACH of 5 cache types, and 1 of a cache type.

Non-Traditional Cacher Award

A special online acknowledgement will be given to any cachers, who have signed the log, who can complete the challenge without using the traditional cache type. Your name will be permanently added to the table below for all to see!

Note, you will need to post your results to your found it log. Project-gc will always take the "easy way" out and use traditionals first so you will need to manually figure out your qualifications if you want to try to avoid using traditionals.
