Did I ever mention the time in 1948 when someone tossed a book onto the back seat of my unlocked car while it was parked near an Adelaide beach? It had a number of lines of what looked like nonsense scrawled in the back of it. Never could quite figure out what that was all about.

Anyway, I recently found this slip of paper down the back of that same seat. Maybe it was there all along. At first glance it looked almost as nonsensical as the stuff scrawled in the book. But it's actually not nonsense. It turns out that none of it is! It all makes perfect sense to me now.

I should clean out my car more often.
