This cache is located in Fairfield Park. This 2.13 acre area is described by the City as "not designed for active recreational use", though I am certain they did not have Geocachers in mind! When you arrive, you will scratch your head for a bit wondering where the park is - I am doing some research, but it has been decades since this area resembled anything the average person would describe as a park. There is heavy vegetation, and a brook runs through the park. That said, the cache is readily accessible, and does not require you venture far from the road, nor into or across the brook.
It is my hope that over time, I can use this to raise awareness, and perhaps someday restore it to a true, functional park.
Once you locate and access the cache, you will receive a warm welcome from three of my minions - please do not remove them, they are only there to say "hi!"
