This geocache is located just off the trail that follows the Moshassuck River that runs through this Nature Conservancy land. My Geodogs, Sadie and Piper love this trail as there is always water flowing in this small river. I chose this spot along the river as it is a nice quiet place to sit and relax. The Moshassuck River's source is an unamed pond within the Aust Family Preserve at Lime Rock on Wilbur Rd. in Lincoln (another of our favorite places to hike) which travels for 8.9 miles to Providence. The West River is its only tributary. There are 2 other traditional caches and one fantastic multi-cache in this area so make sure to make a day of it! We love this area and we think you will, too!
