The cache is located at the road from Mandalay to China. This road is also called Oriental Highway. Highway is a nice name for a road where anyone travels. Of course cars and trucks but also scooter and bicycles. The highway features double carriageway and four lanes but if you pass a village it is only 2 lanes. In the middle between Mandalay and Phy Oo Lwin there are sharp turns in the road because of the steep rising if you travel direction of Phy Oo Lwin. Several places you pass a toll gate, but the amount to pay is cheap
Pyin Oo Lwin is the centre of the country's principal flower and vegetable production. The most important flowers grown intensively are chrysanthemum, aster and gladiolus, which are exported to every corner of Myanmar throughout the year. Lastly, Pyin Oo Lwin is the centre of Myanmar's rapidly growing coffee industry. A number of factories in the town process coffee beans for country-wide distribution, with a growing amount now prepared for export.
I visited Phy Oo Lwin in august 2018 and met some very friendly people here. I told them about my hobby geocaching and they wanted to place a box in their neighberhood.
If your are lucky you will see in the area behind this table a lot of gandamar(chrysanthemum) and other flowers. This was the reason I visited Phy Oo Lwin.
