Tvrđava Castiun (tvrđava Pomer) jedna je od obalnih utvrda Trećeg Prstena, koju su Austrijanci izgradili da bi branili svoju luku u Puli.
U tvrđavi je danas azil za pse.
Slične utvrde su Fort Turtian koji se nalazi oko 2 km u NNO ili Fort Valmarin sjeverno od Pule.
Svi zajedno gotovo su zaboravljeni, na Google kartama sve su već nevidljivi, na OSM i satelitu još ih možete otkriti ...
Kako bih podsjetio na barem jedan od onih koji su zainteresirani, ovdje sam sakrio malu kutiju.
Ulazak u utvrdu nije moguće, a nije nužno, područja se koriste sretni psi kao trčanje!!
Molimo ponovno sakrijte ponovno kako ste ga pronašli.

Fort Castiun (Fort Pomer) ist eine der Küstenfestungen des dritten Rings, welche die Österreicher zur Verteidigung ihres Hafens in Pula gebaut haben. Im Fort befindet sich heute ein Asyl für Hunde.
Ähnliche Forts sind Fort Turtian welches sich ca 2km in NNO befindet oder Fort Valmarin nördlich von Pula.
Alle gemeinsam sind sie nahezu in Vergessenheit geraten, auf google maps sind sie alle schon unsichtbar, auf OSM und Satellit kann man sie noch entdecken...
Um wenigstens eines davon für Interessierte in Erinnerung zu rufen habe ich hier eine kleine Dose versteckt.
Das Betreten des Forts ist nicht möglich und auch nicht nötig, die Flächen werden von glücklichen Hunden als Auslauf benutzt! Bitte versteckt die Dose wieder so wie ihr sie gefunden habt.
Bitte ersetzt das Logbuch wenn es keinen Platz mehr bietet für Einträge!
Versucht die Anlage mal zu umwandern - schöne Fotos wären der Hit.
Fort Castiun (Fort Pomer) is one of the coastal fortresses of the 3rd ring, built by the Austrians to defend their port in Pula.
Today the fort is used as asylum for dogs, go and visit their web site if you care about dogs!
Similar forts are Fort Turtian which is located about 2km NNE, or Fort Valmarin north of Pula.
All together they are almost forgotten and no signs show their presence. Google maps hides their existence in the map already.
To remind at least one of them for those who are interested, I have hidden a small box here.
Entering the fort is not possible and not necessary, the areas are used by happy dogs as a run! The box is hidden in medium climb terrain under a 50x50cm limestone plate.
Be careful at the target position and avoid to fall into the fortress dig.
Please hide the can again the way you found it.
Please replace the logbook if there is no more room for entries!
Try to walk around the Fort if you have some minutes left.
