Last February meandmydogs aka MAMD aka Kim reached 25,000 Finds!!! WOW! We started caching at the same time in 2005. I introduced her to kayaking & she introduced me to geocaching ... What a super combination. I have learned so much that has brought me to almost 5,000 finds ... We have had such adventures trekking to RI where we found so many caches but also saw all the Mr Potato Head statues including the first one at the toy factory. We cached to Punxsutawney, PA and saw Phil the groundhog in his little zoo at the town square plus all the Punxsy Phil statues dressed in outfits to go with the various businesses. He is dressed as the Statue of Liberty on the entrance to the Square. We found the cache up at Gobbler's Knob. We went in November so it was good weather & no crowds! Lots of NH Mountains climbed. and parks discovered and monuments that we never..would have found except for geocaching. .I appreciate such a gifted mentor as Kim and recommend caching with friends so we can help each other at all the fun events and learning hints to look for to spot a tricky hide and especially logging travel bugs & coins so they don't lose their way. Never take a bug or coin unless you will log it & take it to another cache or event
KUDOS TO KIM - MEANDMYDOGS - MAMD ON 25K FINDS & LOTS MORE IN THE FUTURE
