Cascades Family Restaurant, sometimes listed as Saco and often listed as Old Orchard Beach. Is long gone from these grounds. There are today, just the remnants of that restaurant and cabins. An overgrown paved road is the pull off and this cache is very close to that spot. The buildings are gone, and overgrowth now resides here. Nearby, there are other spots that keep the Cascades name, but none can take the place of the Cascades Family Restaurant that used to proudly show a large sign at the road for a twin lobster dinner just $19. Probably before my arrival in Maine, it was less than that I would imagine. I marked the terrain as a 2 because this is not wheel chair accessible (sorry) This cache is off Route 1, a very busy road - please park safely when retrieving the cache
