Durante a minha visita aos Açores, também passarei alguns dias na esperançosamente bela ilha das Flores.
Como este é o fim geográfico oficial da Europa, pensei que seria um local maravilhoso para um evento, certo?
Na verdade, a ilha pequena e desabitada do Ilhéu do Monchique é o ponto mais ocidental da Europa, mas devido ao facto de ser realmente difícil de alcançar, decidi organizar o evento o mais a oeste de Flores possível.
Eu ficaria muito feliz se os habitantes locais viessem também, porque eu gostaria de saber (como alguém que nasceu e cresceu em uma ilha) como é passar a vida toda aqui na ilha de Flores.
É claro que também estou feliz com todos os participantes de todas as partes do mundo e espero que haja até mesmo um geocacher em Flores;)
Portanto, vamos nos encontrar nas coordenadas em 15.11.2018 às 17h30 para falar sobre o nosso hobby e assistir o pôr do sol. O evento dura pelo menos uma hora. No mau tempo, como não esperamos ser tantas pessoas, podemos alternativamente realocar o evento para a Barraca Q'abana.

During my visit to the Azores, I will also spend a few days on the hopefully wonderful island of Flores.
Since this is the official geographical end of Europe, I thought it would be a wonderful place for an event, right?
Actually, the small and uninhabited islet Ilhéu do Monchique is the westernmost point of Europe, but cause of the fact that it is really hard to reach, I decided to organize the event as western as possible on Flores.
I would be very happy if locals come too, because I would like to know (as someone who was also born and raised on an island) what it's like to spend a lifetime here on the island of Flores.
Of course, I'm also happy about every attendee from every part of the world and hope that there is a Geocacher at all on Flores ;)
Therefore, we meet on the 15.11.2018 at the coordinates at 5:30 pm for talking about our hobby and watching the sunset. The event will last at least for an hour. In case of bad weather condition we can alternatively, as I do not expect that we are so many people, move the event to Barraca Q'abana.

Während meines Besuches der Azoren werde ich auch einige Tage auf der hoffentlich wundervollen Insel Flores verbringen.
Da dies das offizielle geographische Ende von Europa ist, dachte ich, wo, wenn nicht hier, wäre es Zeit für ein Event?
Eigentlich ist ja die kleine, unbewohnte Felseninsel Ilhéu do Monchique der westlichste Punkt von Europa, aber da kommt man einfach zu schwer hin ;) also habe ich mich entschlossen das Event so westlich, wie möglich zu veranstalten.
Ich würde mich sehr freuen, wenn auch Einheimische kommen, denn gerne würde ich als jemand, der ebenfalls auf einer Insel geboren wurde, wissen, wie es ist, hier auf der Insel Flores sein Leben zu verbringen.
Natürlich freue ich mich aber auch über jeden Besucher aus jedem Teil der Welt und hoffe, dass sich in der Zeit überhaupt ein Geocacher auf Flores befindet ;)
Wir treffen uns daher am 15.11.2018 an den Koordinaten um 17:30 Uhr an den Koordinaten, um über unserer Hobby zu reden und den Sonnenuntergang anzusehen. Das Event wird mindestens eine Stunde dauern. Bei schlechten Wetter können wir alternativ, da ich nicht damit rechne, dass wir so viele Personen werden, das Event ins Barraca Q'abana verlegen.
