Geocache Description:

Many hikers are pursuing a goal of hiking every trail in the White Mountains, referred to as "red-lining".  This goal brings you to some wonderful trails that might not be as popular as others.

Georgiana Falls is a series of cascades on Harvard Brook.  There is ample parking at the end of Georgiana Falls Rd.

CAUTION!  I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HIKE FOR SMALL CHILDREN OR IF YOU HAVE A FEAR OF HEIGHTS!  This part of the trail is minimally maintained which must be followed carefully.  It is occasionally marked with red blazes and stays mostly in the woods to the right of the cascades. This section of trail is very steep and can be slippery. Use extreme caution!!!  When I hid these caches in the winter, the trail was well packed but we used microspikes for traction. I recommend that you do the same if you plan to go up this trail.

This cache is the thirteenth that I have hidden with this theme and is found at the final waterfall.  Beyond this point, there is a steep scramble up to the ledges at the top of the waterfall where you will have a view of the Pemigewasset River valley and Loon Mountain.  Have fun and be safe!

Congratulations to moosaconaway for FTF!
