Infinity 5 Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

VegasScotty: This geocache is being archived because as luck would have it, it is right smack in the middle of the new Gemini Solar and Battery Storage Project.

Gemini is believed to be the world’s largest solar PV and battery storage project announced to date. Gemini is a >> US$1 billion, 690-megawatt solar array and a battery system capable of storing more than 1,400 megawatt hours of solar power. Gemini will be constructed on federal land 25 miles (40 kilometers) north of Las Vegas by the end of 2023.

So yeah, lucky me. [xx(]

Geocache Description:

This is part of a series of 23 geocaches.  The entire series is 2.6 miles if you do both loops, with each loop being 1.3 miles.  The dirt road into this series is in pretty good shape but I recommend something with a little ground clearance, for comfort. You can park in many places up and down this road. The road gets a little rougher just before the center, Infinity 1, so go as far as you're comfortable.

This cache is hidden under a suspicious pile of rocks... please replace as found so it doesn't float away during the next monsoon.

See  Infinity 1 for additional details and waypoints.
