Geocache Description:

03 March 2019, 10:30 - 12:30

Join me in a cause close to my heart to help clean up and conserve the environment.

Registration (for the Clean up Australia Day component of the day if you wish to participate) and choosing a lucky ticket for FTF will be open from 10:30am at the posted coordinates, there will be a clearly visible table and clean up tools set up, this will remain in that area until aprox 12:00pm.

There are a number of clean-up sites within a short walk/drive and one a little further out along McDonalds track. Map/s will be provided on the day as there may be a couple of additional areas added. These areas vary from a short walk to a short drive away from the posted coords.

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A CITO EVENT, YOUR PARTICIPATION IN COLLECTION OF RUBBISH IS EXPECTED. GZ WILL HAVE LITTLE RUBBISH, PLEASE BE PREPARED TO WANDER OR DRIVE SLIGHTLY FUTHER AFEILD.

You are welcome to participate before or after these times I just can't guarantee I'll be at GZ before or after.

I will attempt to have some TB's to swap and discover during this time also.

If you plan to participate in the Clean Up Australia day component of the day (I highly recommend this) Registration is essential for insurance purposes and I would prefer you to register ahead of time online by following this link: Go to https://www.cleanupaustraliaday.org.au/fundraisers/katethompson/keep-nyora-beautiful, you will also need to log as attending on this event page.

Gloves and Bags will be supplied for both CUAD and CITO participants, (no clean up tools available is SG Shire sorry) My supplies are limited and if you have your own please by all means bring them along.

As always please wear appropriate footwear and clothing, although this event has a T1 rating there are areas that will need to be covered ranging from T1 – T5. I will have a first aid kit at the posted coordinates but would prefer no to have to use it!

I'm working on some biscuits if that will persuade more people to come and join in. Coffee will be available form the nearby café. There are two BBQ’s available if anyone wants to cook a snag or two.

If you are familiar with the area and have a specific part you would like to clean up please message me ahead of time and I can allocate that area to you.

As always I look forward to seeing your smiling faces. Cheers Kate.
