Park near the Public Works office in Gilford and enter the Weeks Woods across the road. This is the best place to enter the Woods as most other trails lead to private lands or hard to find trailheads. (Someday I hope to find some funds to create more trail heads to the Timber Hill farm walking trails....) Meanwhile, I have put a map of the Weeks Woods and the adjacent Timber Hill Farm trails in the photo gallery to help you, but a good hint is that the main trails are RED on the map. You will be able to wander the main trails until your GPS lets you know to head off on another smaller white trail!
Once you get to GZ....you will know! To solve this cache you will need to locate a secret message grid that will let you figure out the coordinates and then...do as the cache name tells you to while you figure it out. When you locate the secret grid, make sure to leave it there! Do not remove it.....taking a picture with your phone for easier reference would be preferred, but don't post that! haha!
Use the secret message grid to find the remaining coordinates of the final stage: N43 33.QRS W71 24.TUV
Q=(1,5) T= (1,2)
R= (5,3) U=(3,4)
S= (2,1) V= (4,1)
Once you have your coordinates, remember that you don't have to bushwack! There is a trail that will take you there.
Please make sure you don't leave any trash in these woods and kick any poorly placed droppings from your four-legged friend off the walking trails.
