Tarvitset todennäköisesti laskinta ensimmäisessä kohteessa
laskiessasi toisen kohteen koordinaatteja ja paperia ja kynän
tehdessäsi muistiinpanoja toisessa ja kolmannessa kohteessa.
Vältä menemistä neljänteen kohteeseen lämpiminä
viikonloppuiltoina, koska nuoriso näyttää juovan olutta
kätköpaikalla.
1. Mene portista sisään. Montako kuollutta venäläistä alueella
on? (Nimiluettelo ei ole kattava.) Onkoon venäläisten lukumäärä x.
Toisen pisteen leveys on 60° 08,208' + 0,060' * x. Toisen pisteen
pituus on 24° 50,180' + 0,140' * x. (Vakio kerrotaan muuttujalla x.
Laske minuutit kolmen desimaalin tarkkuudella. Muuttujassa x voi
olla yksi tai useampia numeroita.)
2. Tähän sukuhautaan on haudattu Suur-Suomen rakentajia. Olet
oikean hautakiven luona, jos isän etunimien alkukirjaimet ovat V.
O.
Kaksi suvun jäsenistä on kuollut saman kuukaudenpäivänä. Tämä päivä
on dd. Perheen sukunimessä on f kirjainta. Poika täytti yy vuotta
vuonna 1906. Tässä hautakivessä on m perheenjäsenen nimet. Alarivin
iskulauseen viimeisessä sanassa on ss kirjainta.
(Kukin kirjain vastaa yhtä numeroa. Jos luvussa on vähemmän
numeroita, lisää etunolla.)
Kolmas piste on N 60° dd,fyy' E 24° fm,mss'.
and ss ovat kaksinumeroisia arvoja.)
3. Punaiset nostivat valkoisen lipun antautumisen merkiksi,
mutta siitä huolimatta he surmasivat kaksi saksalaista sotilasta,
korpraalin (Gefreiter) ja ratsumiehen (Karabinier).
Saksalaisen yksikön (Eskadron, lyh. Esk.) numero oli t. (Huomaa,
että luku on roomalaisin numeroin.) Ampuminen tapahtui 1d.
huhtikuuta 1918 (ts. d on päivän toinen numero). Molemmat
saksalaiset olivat syntyneet vuonna 1abc. Ratsumiehen etunimessä on
k kirjainta ja korpraalin sukunimessä g kirjainta.
Neljäs piste on N 60° dc,ka2' E 24° gt,bc7'.
4. Saksalaiset eivät pitäneet siitä, mitä punaiset tekivät
heille 3. pistellä. Mitä sitten tapahtui, kerrotaan 4. pisteen
portin vasemmalla puolella olevassa laatassa.
Kätkö on muovipussissa. Joudut irrottamaan mustan muovitulpan ennen
kuin näet kätkön.
You will probably need a calculator at the 1st stop when you
calculate the coordinates of the 2nd stop, and paper and pencil
when you take notes at the 2nd and 3rd stops. Avoid visiting
the fourth stop on warm weekend nights because youth seems
to drink beer by the cache.
1. Go in through the gate. How many dead Russians are there?
(The list of names is not complete.) Let the number of Russians be
x. The latitude of the 2nd stop is 60° 08.208' + 0.060' * x. The
longitude of the 2nd stop is 24° 50.180' + 0.140' * x. (The
constant is to be multiplied by the variable x. Use three decimals
in minutes. The variable x may represent one or more digits.)
2. This is a family grave of some of those who tried to build
the Greater Finland. You are by the right gravestone if the
initials of the father's given names are V. O.
Two of the family members have died on the same day of month. The
day is dd. The last name of the family has f letters. The son
turned yy years in 1906. There are names of m members of the family
in this gravestone. In the bottom line slogan, the last word
consists of ss letters.
(Each letter represents one digit. If the value has less digits,
add a leading zero.)
The 3rd stop is at N 60° dd.fyy' E 24° fm.mss'. (There are no
multiplications here or later; you just substitute letters by
values. The value of m, which appears on both sides of the decimal
point, is applied twice, but other repeated letters dd, yy, and ss
are two-digit values.)
3. The Reds showed a white flag as a token of surrender, but
despite that they killed two German soldiers, a lance corporal
(Gefreiter) and a private (Karabinier).
The number of the Germans' troop (Eskadron, abbreviated Esk.) was
t. (When you read it, note that it is a Roman numeral.) The
shooting took place on April 1d, 1918 (i.e., d is the second digit
of day). Both Germans had been born in the year 1abc. There are k
letters in the first name of the private, and g letters in the last
name of the lance corporal.
The 4th stop is at N 60° dc.ka2' E 24° gt.bc7'.
4. The Germans did not like what the Reds did to them at the 3rd
stop. What happened then, can be read in the plaque on the left
side of the gate of the 4th stop.
The cache is in a plastic bag. You have to remove a black plastic
plug before you can see the cache.
