Os Açores têm as melhores pastagens do país. O seu clima húmido e chuvoso faz com que o gado tenha as condições ideais.

Os bovinos pastoreiam ao ar livre e em comunidade, alimentam-se à base de erva fresca durante todo o ano e desfrutam de uma deslumbrante panorâmica com vista para o mar.

The Azores have the best pastures in the country. It's moisture content and rainy climate makes the cattle have the ideal conditions.

The cows graze outdoors and in community, feed on fresh grass all year round and enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the sea.

São muitos e de grande variedade, os produtos que se obtêm dessa atividade. Falamos, claro, da carne e de todos os derivados do leite, entre os quais os iogurtes, a manteiga e... os gelados.

Em Lisboa, pode-se encontrar alguns desses sabores, vindos diretamente do leite obtido nas pastagens da Ilha Terceira.
