You are looking at a piece of history, this area you are looking at is part of the old New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad line. This part went to Turners Falls and there is still old remains of the railroad itself in Turners Falls. It went right through a golf course in Turners as well. It branched off in South Deerfield, where you can see another bridge remains. This one near the fire station. It branched off to go to Shelburne Falls. It crossed over the Deerfield River in Conway and it was the highest railroad bridge in the area. Not there anymore, but remains are still there. This Deerfield line went right through GC5VKQ0 Not the Bridge of Flowers. All in all, much history of this railroad and this area. Congrats to Danceman on the FTF, followed by Bearadise413!
