And this is a true story!!! Mr. Gworol and I have been trying to complete the RI Challenge Cache "39 + 1 Challenge" (GC30J32) for several years now. The only town we still need to get is Block Island!!! Unfortunately, that's been much harder to do than we thought!!! So, for our anniversary weekend we thought we'd give it another shot and see what happens!
This is our 3rd attempt to complete this awesome challenge - that's right, 3rd time!!! We have already been to the pier to board the ferry in November 2017 and April 2018 - both times we found the office doors locked with a sign in the window reading "Ferry Cancelled Due to Weather"! This time we once again have our boarding passes and are determined to get on that ferry!!!
We think if we host a "send off" event and have caching friends there to see us off it could really happen! Please join us near the pier for a quick Meet & Greet from 9 am - 9:30 am where we will be praying for good weather this time!!! We will be meeting outside on the dock to enjoy the company and the view. You are welcome to bring your own morning coffee/donuts, if you so desire, to enjoy while we patiently wait to see if we will actually finish this challenge this time!
