The world's largest garden chair thinks over Steinkjer from the top of Oftenåsen, with a panoramic view of Steinkjer town, the fjord, Ogndalen and south towards Leksdalsvatnet, with the mountain Hermannsasa towering in the background.
Oftenåsen, which is located about 4 km southeast of the city center, is the mountain and Steinkjer's highest point with 336 masl. Oftenåsen is Steinkjer's natural area of experience with a rich stinket around the hill.
The chair was built in 2013 and is a tribute to two local heroes for their work to improve the hiking trails in the area. The names are plotted on the back of the chair. The chair is 4.75 m high and weighs 2.5 tons.
There are several paths leading up to the top, and some climb to reach the roof of Steinkjer. Although a fairly high T-rating is stated, one has experience that the top can be reached by means of an electric wheelchair, but then it is wise to take the "Ainnerveien" from parking at the Skottvoldgruva.
New in 2019 are 49 new troll and animal figures in wood that are deployed as a fairy tale path up to Oftenåsen, and some are also located up by the chair. This provides another experience for the trip up to the top for both adults and children.
Task:
To log this cache you have to
1. Upload a picture in the log of a part og yourself, or something you bring with you to the chair.
2. You should also send a message via the message center or email to CO where you enter the two names written on the back of the chair.
3. Go to waypoint 1 and study the map on bulletin board. How many place names are written on a yellow background and how many are written on a reddish-brown background on this map. Enter this answers in the message you send to CO.

Stolen ble bygd i 2013 og er en hyllest til to lokale helter for sitt arbeid med å utbedre turstiene i området. Navnene er risset inn på baksiden av stolen. Stolen er 4.75 m høy og veier 2.5 tonn.
Det er flere stier som fører opp til toppen, og en del stigning for å komme på taket av Steinkjer. Selv om det er oppgitt en ganske høy T-rating har man erfaring for at toppen kan nås ved hjelp av elektrisk rullestol, men da er det lurt å ta «Ainnerveien» fra parkering ved Skottvoldgruva.
