This event is intended to be the first of a series of events to be held every couple of weeks, on a Saturday morning for geocachers to meet up and discuss all things geocaching. They will be held an hour before an organized run in a park. Because of listing guidelines, I can’t tell you the group that organizes the run, but I’m hoping you can figure it out, or maybe message me and I can help you out.
These runs are held all over the world, they are 5 kilometres long and are designed for varying abilities, from amateur athletes through to people who just enjoy a nice walk. Like geocaching, they are a great, free way for people to get outside and get active.
Attending this event does NOT mean you need to do the run afterwards. You are more than welcome to just come along, sign the log book have a good old chat about geocahing and maybe support those who choose to do the run. This is a geocaching meet and greet after all, so feel free to bring along TBs, geocoins, stories of adventure, or anything else you might like to swap.
This event starts at 7:00am and concludes at 7:30am.
