This cache is at the center of Montgomery Village, a small northern Vermont community. Montgomery is known for its historic covered bridges, boasting six, giving it the name Vermont’s Covered Bridge Town. The cache location is in the Common behind one of the benches. It is a short walk to two of the covered bridges. Fuller Bridge over the Black Falls Brook and in the opposite direction is the Comstock Bridge over the Trout River. The brook and river join on their path from the northern Green Mountains to the Missisquoi River and on to Lake Champlain. This is great area for summer adventures, fall scenery and winter fun.
