Abkühlung im Paradies
Wo genau der Strand Kedrodasos liegt, ist auch unter den Einheimischen ein Geheimtipp. Der Strand mit seinem Zedernwald liegt gut versteckt an der westlichen Südküste. Eingerahmt von einer der wenigen Zedernwälder Kretas, ist dieses fleckchen Erde noch ein verbleibendes Paradies der Insel. Dies ist sicher auch dem schwer zu findenden Weg hierher zu verdanken ;)
Der Name des Kedrodasos leitet sich direkt von seinem Baumbewuchs ab: Kedros für Zeder und Dasos für Wald.
Als Schattenspender stehen diverse Bäume zur Verfügung. Der Weg ist mühsam aber lohnt sich auf jeden Fall.

Cooling in the paradies
Where exactly the beach kedrodasos is, is also an insider tip among the locals. The beach with its cedar forest is well hidden on the west coast. framed by one of the few cedar forests of Crete, this patch of soil is still a remaining paradise on the island. This is certainly due to the hard to find way here ;)
The Name of the Kedrodasos derives directly from its tree cover: kedros for cedar and dasos for forest.
As a shade donor, various trees are available. The way is difficult but definitely worth it.
