Beste Geocachers,

Aan alle mooie dingen komt een einde.
De "Euromast" is een project dat wij 2 jaar geleden zijn begonnen vanuit een intresse voor geoarts, en om jullie deze groene oase van rust in polder ten noorden van rotterdam te kunnen laten zien.

Helaas wordt deze rust steeds verder verstoord door de toenemende werkzaamheden in dit gebied. Hierdoor wordt de ronde steeds lastiger te onderhouden.

Vandaar dat wij helaas hebben besloten een einde te maken aan deze ronde.
Bedankt voor alle leuke logjes en favorietpunten die wij hebben mogen ontvangen!

All good things come to an end.
The "Euromast" is a project that we started 2 years ago out of an interest for geoarts, and to show you this green oasis of tranquility in the polder near Rotterdam.

Unfortunately, this tranquility is increasingly disturbed by the increasing work in this area. This makes the round increasingly difficult to maintain.

That is why we decided put an end to this series.

Geocache Description:

		EUROMAST #32 Geocaching Geoart in Rotterdam

Introductie:
Rotterdam heeft veel moois te bieden als het gaat om Geocaching. Je hebt veel caches, veel leuke events, maar wat er nog miste in dit gebied was een GeoArt.
En wat is er leuker dan een Rotterdams symbool als de Euromast?
Inderdaad... niets, dus tijd voor een fietsroute! Ja toch, niettan!?

Fietsroute:
Deze GeoArt bestaat uit 2 routes. Een hoofd route bestaande uit 35 caches, en 5 losse caches verspreid over de regio Overschie.

Deze route gaat door de polder Schieveen. Deze polder wordt gevormd door het gebied dat ligt tussen de Doenkade (zuid), de Schie (west), de Zweth (noord) en de Oude Bovendijk (oost).

De route is ongeveer 12km lang, en is ontworpen voor fietsers. Met de auto kun je niet overal komen of stoppen, en er ligt vrijwel nergens een afgeschermd wandelpad.
Parkeren is mogelijk op: N 51 57.122 E 4 25.218
Vergeet onderweg niet andere caches op de route te zoeken!

Cachebehuizing:
De ronde bestaat uit een serie van 35 caches. De petlings zijn op drie verschillende manieren verstopt: in de grond achter een object, hangend aan een boom, of ‘overig’ waar de lokatie dat toeliet. Laat de hangende petlings a.u.b. hangen, en open ze door de dop eraf te draaien.

Bonusaanwijzingen:
Onderweg vind je aluminium plaatjes met hierop een bonusnummer A=.., B=.., enzovoorts. De plaatjes hangen op maximaal 20cm van de cache. Met deze getallen kun je later de coordinaten van cache #35 berekenen.

Puzzel:
Er zijn een aantal soorten puzzels in wisselende moeilijkheidsgraad (D1 t/m D2). Er zijn puzzels met weetjes over Rotterdam, toolboxpuzzels, digitalepuzzels, en nog veel meer.

Introduction:
Rotterdam has a lot to offer when it comes to Geocaching. You have many caches, many fun events, but what was missing in this area was a GeoArt.

Cycling route:
This GeoArt consists of 2 routes. A main route consisting of 35 caches, and 5 separate caches spread over the Overschie region.

The route is approximately 12 km long, and is designed for cyclists. You cannot go or stop everywhere by car, and there is virtually no protected walking path anywhere. Parking is possible at: N 51 57.122 E 4 25.218
Don't forget to look for other caches along the route!

Cache housing:
The main round consists of a series of 35 caches. The petlings are hidden in three different ways: in the ground behind an object, hanging on a tree, or "other" where the location allowed it. Please allow the hanging petlings to hang and open them by unscrewing the cap.

Bonus instructions:
Along the way you will find aluminum plates with a bonus number A = .., B = .., and so on. The pictures hang at a maximum of 20 cm from the cache. With these numbers you can later calculate the coordinates of cache #35.

Puzzle:
There are a number of types of puzzles in varying degrees of difficulty (D1 to D2). There are puzzles with facts about Rotterdam, toolbox puzzles, digital puzzles, and much more.

Some puzzles are in dutch, solving those puzzles could be difficult. Use a translation service if you want to solve these.
