The cache is a pint-sized plastic jar, hidden in a well-protected but not winter friendly location. The trail up to the summit of Whiteface (in Wolfeboro) is just over 1 mile long. This cache is located near the base of the cliff. If you keep your eyes peeled you will see two small cairns marking a side trail made by climbers to access those cliffs. The name is due to the noise I heard from a local gravel pit. I suspect they were crushing and/or separating gravel sizes while I was on the trail.
