This cache is located on the Discovery Trail, a 1.4 mile loop trail in Lincoln, NH. Interpretive panels describing both managed and natural forest ecology have been placed along the trail. Four other caches are also on the trail. They are replacing an earlier series on this trail.
The parking area for the trail is located on Rte. 112, the Kancamagus Highway, in Lincoln NH. A White Mountain National Forest parking pass is required.
This cache is a bison located in the woods on the left side of the trail when starting up the trail.
