艋舺/Monga/モンガに散る
萬華舊名『艋舺』，意指獨木舟或獨木舟聚集之處。 早年初期僅許多平埔族原住民「凱達格蘭族」居住於此，他們以一種叫『ManKa』的獨木舟為交通工具，循淡水河上游大嵙崁溪（現今大漢溪）、新店溪往來於山地和平地之間與漢人交易載運茶葉、蕃薯等作物，『 陳賴章』墾民至此見舟船雲集，因而命『艋舺』之名。艋舺開發早、人口多，龍蛇雜處、賭博情色地下經濟發達，地方角頭與黑道幫派也應運而生。八零年代末，蚊子轉學到艋舺一所高中，遭到同學霸凌，幸好「太子幫」出面搭救，蚊子因而與志龍、和尚、白猴等人結拜為兄弟，加入幫派並開始了江湖生活。志龍外號太子，因其父親Geta是艋舺祖師廟廟口幫角頭老大。不久，外省人幫派老大灰狼，覬覦艋舺的地盤以及經濟利益，與Geta協商合作破局之後，開始暗中策反廟口幫，意圖擴展勢力、全盤接管艋舺。最後，Geta老大不敵埋伏奇襲而死，太子幫這時也起了內鬨、彼此懷疑與鬥爭…
《Monga》is a 2010 Taiwanese gangster film set in late 80s Taipei.
Monga (now known as Wanhua District) is one of Taipei's districts. Mosquito (Mark Chao) and his friends have no illusions about the unwritten laws that prevail in this part of town: if you want to survive here, you’ve got to have the friends that make you stronger than your enemies....
