Geocache Description:

The ill fated Troy and Greenfield Railroad, chartered in 1848, was not completed until 1875. The 27 years was largely due to the construction of the Hoosac Tunnel.

The Hoosac Tunnel wasn't the T&G's only problem. It's 273 foot bridge over the Green River collapsed the first time a train went over it.

All this led to the T&G's bankruptcy in 1862.

The Tunnel and the railroad were finished by the T&G's largest lienholder, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

To find this cache you will have to complete the nearby Adventure Lab of the same name. If you've already competed it just view your journal.

This cache has parking waypoints for the Adventure Labs and is a place to write about the labs and upload pictures. It also lets you see who has finished the Adventure Lab if you need to use a Phone-A-Friend.

There are some website bugs in the Adventure Lab. PLEASE let me know about any problems you have.

Removing the punctuation from one of the answers seems to have solved the problem.
