Pynchon Point Park is located at the mouth of the Westfield River where it joins the Connecticut River creating a confluence. What's a confluence you may ask. The simple answer is that a confluence is the junction of two rivers of approximately equal width. Pynchon Point Park is open to the public and parking is available. In the past, Pynchon Point was the location of a ferry that once connected Agawam to West Springfield, it now functions as a popular fishing spot, and offers a few trails along the river.
This cache has only room for the log, so there will be no TBs available, nor should any be left.
