Erhvervsliv i Lyngerup Letterbox Hybrid

Denne Letterbox har til formål at vise, hvilket erhvervs- og forretningsliv der findes i en lille landsby, uden for de store byer.

I gamle dage var Lyngerup en driftig handelsby med mange forretninger. Der var bager, slagter, sadelmager, skomager, frisør, posthus og politistation, blot for at nævne nogen stykker. Der var endda en overgang et støberi. I dag er der kun ganske få erhvervsmål tilbage.

Denne cache vil bringe dig rundt til de tilbageblevne erhversmål, hvor du skal indsamle oplysninger der kan bringe dig til slutcachen.

Turen rundt er på ca 1000-1500 meter, alt efter hvilken parkering der vælges.

Cachen er udlagt som en Letterbox, dvs at der i cachen findes et stempel, som kan benyttes til at stemple i din stempelbog, hvis du har en sådan. Konceptet er at du så skal stemple i logbogen med dit medbragte stempel ELLER bruge din finger (fingeraftryk) som stempel, hvis du ikke selv har noget stempel.

Indsamling af oplysninger:

Du skal nu rundt i byen og indsamle en række tal, som du til sidst skal bruge til at finde slutcachen.

1. Ved startkoordinaterne findes et halvtag opført af Lyngerup Bylaug.

• Hvor mange borde/bænke SÆT står under halvtaget?
• Antal lodrette stolper på forsiden?

2. Du gar nu hen til rundkørslen og krydser 2 veje via fodgængerfelterne. Fortsæt 160 meter mod nord.

3. Du står nu foran en bygning, der har været brugt som gildesal/forsamlingshus.. Langs med vejen står et antal granitsøjler på cirka 1 meter i højden.

• Tæl antallet af søjler.

4. Du skal nu krydse vejen. PAS PÅ, selv om det er byzone kører bilerne til tider ret stærkt på dette sted.

5. Du står nu foran en kæmpestor hvid bygning. På facaden, højt oppe, findes nogle kæmpe store bogstaver.

• Tæl antallet af bogstaver.

6. Du går nu tilbage mod rundkørslen og fortsætter rundt til højre. Fortsæt 100 meter frem.

7. Du står nu foran en bygning som gennem tiden har været til bl.a en is-bod. På indgangsdøren sidder et skilt med åbningstiden.

• Hvad tid åbnes der om søndagen?     (Brug et helt klokkeslet. Eks. 0800 vil være 8 og 1500 vil være 15)

8. Du skal nu over på den anden side af hovedvejen. Det vil nok være fristende blot at gå over, men jeg anbefaler at man går tilbage til rundkørslen og benytter fodgængerfeltet. Fra fodgængerfeltet følger du landevejen ca 300 meter mod sydvest til du kommer til en servicestation.
På pladsen er der et antal pumper (tanksteder).

• Antal Diesel påfyldningsslanger

9. Sidste punkt er indgangen til den forretning der også findes på dette sted. Stil dig foran indgangen. I nederste venstre hjørne står en mærkat med et telefonnummer.

• Sidste 2 tal i telefonnummeret.

10. Du har nu været en tur rundt i byen og set typen af forretninger der findes i byen. Skal man have dagligvarer og tøj eller sko, skal man ud på en længere tur. Du skulle nu gerne have samlet 10 tal og er klar til at finde ud af hvor cachen er gemt.

Udregning af slutkoordinater:

Du skal nu bruge alle de indsamlede tal ( 10 tal) og lave en GADE.

The purpose of this Letterbox is to show what business and business life exists in a small village, outside the big cities.
 

In the old days, Lyngerup was a thriving trading town with many shops. There were bakers, butchers, saddler, shoemaker, hairdresser, post office and police station, just to name a few. Today, only a few business remains.

This cache will take you to the remaining business destinations, where you will need to collect information that will bring you to the final cache.

The walk around is about 1000-1500 meters, depending on which parking is chosen.

The cache is interpreted as a Letterbox, ie there is a stamp in the cache that can be used to stamp in your stamp book if you have one. The concept is that you then have to stamp in the logbook with your stamp OR use your finger (fingerprint) as a stamp if you do not have a stamp yourself.

Collection of information:

You now have to go around town and collect some numbers that you will eventually need to find the final cache.

1. At the start coordinates there is a half roof erected by Lyngerup Bylaug.

•     How many pairs of Tables / Benches Sets under the Roof?
•     Number of vertical posts on the front of the shed?

2. You now go to the roundabout and cross 2 roads via the pedestrian lanes. Continue 160 meters to the north.

3. You are now standing in front of a building that has been used as a banquet hall / assembly house. Along the way stand a number of granite columns about 1 meter in height.

•     Count the number of columns.

4. You must now cross the road. CAUTION, even though it is the urban zone, the cars sometimes run pretty strong in this place.

5. You are now standing in front of a huge white building. On the facade, high up, there are some huge capital letters.

•     Count the number of letters.

6. Now, walk back towards the roundabout and continue around the corner to the right. Continue 100 meters forward.

7. You are now standing in front of a building who over time has been for example an ice cream shop. There is a sign with the opening hours on the front door.

•     What time does it open on Sundays? (Use a full time. Ex. 0800 will be 8 and 1500 will be 15)

8. You should now cross to the other side of the main road. It will probably be tempting to just go over, but I recommend going back to the roundabout and using the pedestrian zone. From the pedestrian zone, follow the road about 300 meters to the southwest until you reach a service station.
In the square there are a number of pumps (filling stations).

•     Number of Diesel pumps / filling stations (mumber of tubes)

9. The last point is the entrance to the business that is also located at this place. Stand in front of the entrance. In the bottom left corner is a sticker with a phone number.

•     Last 2 numbers in the phone number.

10. You have now been touring the city and seen the type of business that exists in the city. If you need groceries and clothes or shoes, you need to go on a longer trip. You should now have collected 10 numbers and are ready to find where the cache is stored.

Calculation of final coordinates:

You must now use all the numbers collected (10 numbers) and make a GADE.
