Near the Bay Circuit Trail (BCT), this cache, named after the Paul Hawken book by the same title, is another tribute to the many non-profit organizations around the world and the many volunteers who make their work a reality. This includes a healthy number of trail and land trust organizations in and around North Andover including Friends of North Andover Trails, The Trustees of Reservations, Essex County Greenbelt, and Friends of Harold Parker. Easiest access is from the BCT spur off of Sharpeners Pond Road. Don’t miss the beaver marsh informational sign and long boardwalk about 500’ to the west of GZ courtesy of the volunteers at the Friends of North Andover Trails and the Student Conservation Association (SCA).
