Take the old Thomson Rd off of 113 0.9 miles up to the parking lot. The Doublehead Trail, part of the Sandwich Range and Crawford-Ridgepole Trail, is located across from the lot. If you take a slight left at the trialhead and walk up the grassy road you will see a beautiful area owned by the Squam Lakes Conservation Society that overlooks Squaw Cove on Squam Lake. Make sure to sign the visitors log located on the picnic table before you leave
Please note that this cache can be accessed anytime of year, but the road is not passable during the winter as it is not plowed.
