Welcome to Williams! This geocache is a walking tour of Williams College in which you use the physical attributes of buildings and landmarks around you to determine final coordinates. The tour is based heavily on the genuine Williams College self-guided tour for potential applicants, a pamphlet that they like to hand out when the Office of Admissions is closed or no student-led tours are available.
Throughout this tour, you will proceed as though you are a pre-freshman, soon to graduate high school and deep within the college hunt. For any number of reasons, Williams College has appealed to you and you've decided to come and take a look yourself. Unfortunately for you, the Office of Admissions is not offering guided tours during your campus visit. But fear not! The self-guided tour explained in this document will help you see and explore the campus, even if the Office of Admissions is closed!
To find this cache, you will need access to the Self-Guided Tour pdf, linked HERE (https://drive.google.com/file/d/18Y4mIeiYomi8euRaS16yM-wYw0hRJ84F/view). Check it on your phone or print it out beforehand (doing both is recommended), but having access to this document in one way or another will be necessary for a successful geocaching experience. Using this pdf, your final coordinates will come in the form of N 42 42.ABC W 73 12.DEF. This document also contains walking instructions for how to get from place to place on campus, as well as interesting information about all of those places.
At GZ, look for a basic camoed pill-bottle. Please replace the cache exactly as found! After all, Williams College is an active campus, filled with many muggles. Take extreme care while at GZ.
