This cache is atop Whitton Ledge where granite blocks were once cut from the bedrock. You will gain over 400 feet in elevation over the 1.7 mile hike along old woodland roads. Park along the side of Drake Hill Road near the gate, and nearly across the street from a cemetery. These trails may not be accessible in the winter.
The cache is under a block. Not close to any drop off. But it is under an impressive cable.
