Turns out that in the Summer of 2020 the town of Scituate created an entirely new conservation area after purchasing it from the Maxwell Trust- and it is yet to even have an official name! While the parking lot and signage is still under construction, the park is open for public access, albeit some awkward parking on a paved pulloff on Clapp road. I think that so far the park looks amazing, and its hallmark feature is an old farming field now home to hundreds of Monarch Butterflies every summer.
I decided to place a 5 stage relatively easy terrain and hide multi along the Orange Trail, which begins at the parking lot that is under construction and travels in a loop through the new woods. Continue past the end of this cache on the orange trail to complete the loop and return to the parking area. All five stages are film canisters. I have prepopulated the final with several travel bugs for the FTF.
The hike should be around a mile, give or take.
Please secure as well as you found it, and make sure they are in tight so no squirrels or other woodland animals cant run off with them!
