Geocache Description:

Your looking for an ammo can hidden in the Swift River Reservation, a Trustees property. Pay attention to waypoints provided.  From parking follow the obvious path past the gate.  Your route may vary during the year.  The most direct route to cache is to follow the path straight ahead until you come to an old foundation.  Bear left at the split towards the trailhead waypoint, then straight ahead towards the tree line and blue blazed trail along the river.  Enjoy the water, we have seen River Otters, Beaver, Trout and Great Blue Herons.  Gz is at the corner of the trail.  The Blue trail continues away from the river up the hill towards another of our caches, but this is probably the most strenuous trail section here, so be warned.  We placed it here as a heads up to trail direction, it is also away from the fishermen.  The path beyond the gate is a public right of way to another Trustees property, it is along private property so if you choose stay on the path and enjoy the scenery.

The ammo can was decorated solely by Greta, the G in GMB.  Octopuses Garden was released in 1969 on the masterful album, Abbey Road.  The song was written by Ringo himself and is so simple, yet so universal its still a kick to listen to today.

We're giving this a 3 for terrain.  The riverside section is very easy to traverse, but if you decide to continue to loop around the blue trail it includes a quick steep section.
