This is a lovely spot overlooking an inlet of the Lamprey River. This portion of the river flows into downtown Newmarket and Durham. You can paddle the river, following the twists and turns past farms, under bridges, and along the forest edge. It's one of my favorite places to kayak/paddleboard. The nearby railroad tracks are used for passenger and freight trains.
The swag were made from items left over from various craft projects. The colors are what is signifcant.
