Have you ever had the opportunity to drink at one of the many fountains scattered around Rome? Many of you already know the famous "nasoni" scattered almost everywhere in Rome, but perhaps, without knowing it, you have also drunk from one of the hundred historical fountains of Rome! In this LabCache we will guide you to discover some of these fountains by providing you with history and some curiosities about them. In ancient times, numerous aqueducts flowed under the soil of Rome (many of which are still present and which flow from the thousands of fountains in Rome to also end up in the taps of the Romans’ houses). These are the names of the main and oldest Roman aqueducts: Appio, Aniene Vecchio, Aniene Nuovo, Marcia, Tepula, Giulia, Vergine, Alsietina, Claudia, Traiana, Alessandrina.
