In the most fabulous of tall forests, which makes it much more than geocaching. Such a privilege walking in this forest.
There are several options to get to this cache, the closest from the Tall Trees car park which makes it about 300 metres of walking one way to get there. However, the best way is to go on the circuit walk taking in Russell, Horseshoe and Lady Barron Falls. There are places to stop along the way.
The walk takes you through tall forests of swamp gum (Eucalyptus regnans) and stringy bark (Eucalyptus obliqua) and are good quality all weather tracks.
The position of this cache had to be slightly changed from the original location because the fern used as a pointer fell. It can be difficult to get a good GPS reading but the details in the hint, plus the photos should help.
You don’t have to leave the track to get the cache.
