To claim this cache as a find, you must find it using
the coordinates that are either posted in the description or in one
of the notes. If you log it as a find otherwise, your log will be
removed. If you log it as a find before the new coordinates are
posted in a log or in the description, your log will be removed. If
you found it with someone else, make sure you mention that in you
log, otherwise I will assume you didn't find it at the posted
coordinates. It can be hidden at an event, but if it is,
the ONLY people that can log it as a find must
find it at the posted coordinates and not in somebodies
possession.
This part pertains to people that have found this geocache once
before. You may find it again, but only after 2 other people have
found and moved it, and only after the cache has been in it's last
position for at least 7 days. If you like, you can find it before
then, but you may not move it until after the 7 days is up.
REMEMBER! Due to the type of
cache it is, it MAY not be at the currently
displayed location. |
When I stopped by the park in which I started this cache to take
Augie out for a walk, I saw a film canister with a log in it. I
thought that the cache that I had placed here earlier was still in
one piece and actually traveling, but I thought to be safe I would
place another container in the same location. If the original was
traveling then this would be #2, otherwise it would be a
replacement. As it was, the original was safe and traveling, so
this cache became a #2. I thought there were enough small hidden
parks that not very many people know about, so I will keep this
cache just like it's older brother GC6ADF.
This cache is based upon the Wapehani Traveler GC175A
and just like the Traveling, Little Known Parks Finder
GC6ADF. Once you find it, you log your find and then move it
to a new little know park that you know about.
Since this is a traveling cache, as soon as you find it, log
your find on the cache page to let others that may be looking for
this cache know that you have moved it. Then, once you move it to a
new location, log a new "note" with the new co-ordinates and, if
needed, an encrypted clue. You can either self-encrypt it or
enclose the entire log within brackets [like this] except for the
part that is to be encrypted. So, if you need a clue, check the
last log for an encrypted clue.
This cache only contains a small scroll of paper inside a
floating key chain with a hollow compartment, which is where the
log is contained, so you will need your own pen or pencil to record
your name(s), date, and the time you found the cache as well as the
location in which you found the cache. A general area will suffice,
i.e. for the first person it would be South Eastern Park in
Bloomington, IN USA.
Due to the size of the cache, it can be hidden in very highly
traveled locations without risk of being found, as long as it is
very well hidden. Try to re-hide the cache very well so that it
will not be accidentally found and to keep this cache a challenge.
It will also provide another challenge for you to get the cache
rehidden as well.
One final request. Please either leave a note on tissue paper
saying that the cache has been moved, or leave a TeePee of sticks
at the location of the original cache. This will immeadiately
signal to future seekers that the cache is no longer at this
location.
This cache was originally placed on September 21, 2002 in
Bloomington, IN @ N 39° 08.962 W 086° 30.269, which is the exact
same location that the "Traveling, Little Known Parks Finder"
(GC6ADF) was placed on June 30, 2002.
