Here's a cache located on a newer part of East Garrison. I was surprised that these old buildings still existed, but I doubt they'll be around for much longer, what with all the new construction in the area. Fort Ord has officially been gone for decades now, but remnants of its past still remain. Some in better condition than others. Fort Ord will always live on in the hearts and minds of all who lived and worked here.
There's ample parking in the general area to make this a quick park and grab, or you can stay a while to walk along the bluff and take in the beautiful panoramic views of the Salinas Valley. Watch out for muggles and BYOP.
